Try reducing your caffeine and alcohol intake as these can act as a stimulant to increase the risk of an attack. Many people think that consuming alcohol help reduce your stress level and helps you relax. But this is far from the truth. It has been proved medically that alcohol makes panic attacks worse. This also applies to caffeine.

Dealing with anxiety is not impossible. If, as mentioned, you learn to face your fears or use distraction techniques you could take control of your stress levels and panic attacks. After ruling out a medical cause for the way you feel, your doctor may recommend trying some excellent antidepressant and anti-anxiety drugs available today. Alternatively your doctor may recommend counselling or psychotherapy and refer you to the right professional.
